Vectorbloc scalability explained

A fundamental property of the Vectorbloc system is its scalability, making it the only modular construction system offering consistent details and economy at a wide range of building scales, from low rise to high-rise.

The Vectorbloc System consists of two subsystems we call “Stacked” and “Bundled”.

The Stacked system features engineered column transitions from 4” x 4” / 100mm x 100mm HSS columns to 12” x 12” / 300mm x 300mm and beyond, delivering un-factored, concentric load-bearing capacities to +500kips, fully integrated in to the module frames.

The Bundled system achieves equal capacities, while adding shear walls to the available solutions, all while keeping the columns entirely within the wall cavity and preserving valuable GFA.

Together, these systems provide modular building designers with unprecedented freedom while achieving remarkable efficiency in the use of materials.
